Garden City Solar is a Christchurch-based solar design and installation company.   

Owners Zac and Janee have lived here in Canterbury for over 30 years. They have two young girls and a Golden Retriever named Barkley.

Zac is about to tick over a decade of experience as an electrician and solar installer. He’s also a qualified solar inspector which adds to his technical knowledge of quality installs and safety standards. Janee is a teacher by trade, and now is Garden City Solar’s administrator.

The company was formerly known as Hillside Solar, but was rebranded in early 2023 to better connect us with Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region.
